Cado Ezechiar is a wanderer who has outlived the age that forged him. Once a Soulblight vampire of a fallen kingdom consumed by Chaos, he now traverses the Realm of Death in pursuit of vengeance and redemption for those he could not save.
Bound by the spirits of his fallen, Cado pursues a blood-soaked vendetta against Chaos and its servants, hunting the Sorcerer of Change who razed his realm. His quest draws him to Aventhis, where he finds himself ensnared in the ambitions of greater powers who regard mortals as mere pawns. Caught between honour and vengeance, Cado must outmaneuver treachery and warfare—or forfeit all he has left.
