THE STORY
On the thirteenth day of the second month, the bombardment of Terra commenced. Overcoming the solar defenses with the combined might of the Traitor armada and the forces of the warp, Horus launches a full-scale assault on the Throneworld. The Palace is bombarded relentlessly and a bloody ground battle ensues, with every inch gained at the cost of countless lives. The front lines are a nightmare, filled with poison gas and rivers of blood. Despite the efforts of the loyal primarchs, the outer defenses are quickly crumbling under the relentless attacks of Horus' generals, Mortarion and Angron. The defenders are facing a grim and inevitable defeat.
