A new Astra Militarum novel by Russell Zimmerman in paperback. Auxilia follows Castellan-Colonel Roane as he's thrust into command of a disparate auxilia unit comprised of despised abhumans. Caught between a ruthless commissar's contempt, the indifference of the Departmento Munitorum, and soldiers who oppose his leadership, Roane faces an uphill battle to forge his ragtag forces into a cohesive fighting unit. Survival means victory—but his own ranks may prove his greatest enemy.
