The upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Magic: The Gathering set (releasing February 27th, 2026) leans heavily into a few new key mechanics.
Sneak (The New Ninjutsu)
Sneak is a modernized version of the classic Ninjutsu mechanic. While it still involves swapping a creature in your hand with an unblocked attacker for a discount, it is more flexible.
Versatility: Unlike Ninjutsu, Sneak is appearing on non-creature spells (like Sorceries) as well as creatures.
Mutagen Tokens
The iconic "Ooze" is represented by Mutagen Tokens, which are a new type of predefined artifact token that you can sacrifice to put a +1/+1 counter on a target creature.
The Ooze Strategy: Many cards in the set (particularly in Green/Blue) generate these tokens or provide extra bonuses when you sacrifice them, representing the rapid mutation and growth of your team.

No matter what your schedule is we probably have an event for you. We have 8 prereleases for you to choose from at three different price points starting on Friday at 3:00pm and continuing through Tuesday at 6:30pm.
