A Lawless Time Mar 6th Prerelease & Preorder Info

The upcoming A Lawless Time expansion (in-store prerelease on March 6th and online March 13th) is the seventh set for Star Wars: Unlimited and marks a major shift for the game, as it coincides with the first-ever Premier format rotation.

Preorder Star Wars Unlimited: A Lawless Time

Here are the top two new mechanics arriving in the set:

1. Credit Tokens

This brand-new token type introduces a temporary resource acceleration. Unlike permanent resources (which you get from cards like Resupply), Credit tokens can be stockpiled and then "defeated" (spent) to reduce the cost of a card or ability by 1 resource per token.

Tactical Use: It allows for explosive turns where you can play high-cost units earlier than expected without permanently increasing your resource count.
Key Synergy: The Jabba the Hutt leader specializes in this, allowing you to generate credits by returning Underworld units to your hand.

2. Multi-Aspect Cards

For the first time, cards will feature two primary aspects (e.g., Cunning and Aggression) in addition to a Heroism or Villainy alignment. These "triple-aspect" cards are significantly more powerful but have much stricter deckbuilding requirements to avoid the aspect penalty.

Strategic Impact: This encourages more diverse "rainbow" deckbuilding. Leia Organa, for instance, has a playstyle that specifically rewards you for having as many different aspects as possible among your units in play.
Common Bases: To support these cards, the set includes a cycle of Common Bases (like Daimyo's Palace) with an Epic Action that lets you ignore an aspect penalty for one card play.
