Kill Team Tomb World
In this latest Kill Team season, Volkus and the Great Gun are set aside as attention shifts to Somneft, a barren planet in the Nephilim Sector. Beneath its surface lies a dormant tomb complex that poses a growing threat to the Imperium. A Deathwatch Space Marine team is deployed to infiltrate its tight corridors, plant charges, and neutralize the danger before it awakens. Yet, not all Necrons remain dormant; a cunning Cryptek actively hunts the Adeptus Astartes, intending to use them in her unsettling experiments.
Kill Team: Tomb World introduces two entirely new kill teams alongside an extensive selection of terrain for fresh strategic opportunities. The Deathwatch kill teams feature elite operatives drawn from diverse Chapters, each tailored to specific roles; the set includes enough miniatures to assemble two full teams, showcasing a broad range of sculpted shoulderpads and faces representing multiple Chapters. Opposing them is the Canoptek Circle, comprising two Tomb Crawlers, an Accelerator, a Reanimator, and three Canoptek Circle Warriors, all commanded by a formidable Geomancer.
This set includes 10 Necron Warriors and three Scarab Swarms usable as NPOs, along with 25 pieces of Tomb World terrain: 16 walls, 16 pillars, two wall ends, a sarcophagus, two teleport pads, and four debris elements. A themed Tomb World game board enhances the immersive experience. The comprehensive 80-page Tomb World Dossier provides conflict background, lore, and rules for both Kill Teams, the Killzone, a cooperative Joint Ops mission pack for solo or two-player battles against a Necron Host, and an Adversary Ops pack featuring two-player competitive missions. The package also features tokens, datacards, plus decks of Tomb World event and NPO cards to enrich gameplay.
